This project has been rumored for a while. It will be interesting to see what actually happens. While it does seem like a large number of new units it’s hard to gage demand.

Just checked GCAR and noted that 329 Market St has come back on. I’m guessing there was an issue with the planned redevelopment of the former car dealership.

John Healy at SVN listed 4.65ac at 400 W MLK Blvd for sale at $28.85psf ($5,850,000). It looks like it’s really more two lots joined by an isthmus and looks usable only for multistory multifamily. Looking at the 94 ac GE property sale as a comp it appears a bit over market on the pricing as well but given the heat in multifamily more power to them if they get it.
